I am a granola lover 100%
Granola!! I met you for the first time when I was a teen. I completely fell in love with you immediately. Even though you were a commercial-made one, I became a granola addict at one point. I ate granola for breakfast, lunch, snack, dessert, and midnight snack… Even though, I didn’t know this tasty homemade granola then.
Homemade granola is so much better!!
This homemade granola is 10 times better than commercial granola. So flavorful, nutty, and crunchy. Every time I make this, it won’t last more than 2 days in my house. My family and friends, love this recipe. When I make a big batch of this granola, I pour them into a mason jar, then wrap them with a cute ribbon. Granola is also a perfect gift for friends and families.
Homemade granola is customizable
This is a very basic granola recipe and once you can master this, you can make your own style. In other words, you can customize any way you want. Use different seeds such as hemp seeds, chia seeds, or pumpkin seeds. You can also use dried fruit, or you can add freeze-dried fruits as well. Instead of using maple syrup, you can use honey or agave. Add favorite spice like cinnamon or turmeric, or you can add matcha powder to make matcha granola.
Coconut chips is perfect ingredients
One of my favorite ingredients for this recipe is this coconut chips. The crunchy texture and sweet and nutty flavor are phenomenon for granola. You can use the shredded coconuts instead, but I like this crispy texture so I prefer to use these big flakes of coconuts.
Make sure to add dried fruits in the end
As I said above, you can add any dried fruits you like. However, please make sure to add them toward to end of the baking. If you add them from the beginning, the dried fruits will become very hard like stone. In addition, if you want to add some freeze-dry fruits, please mix them after the baked granola is completely chilled.
